Dear friends,
Why has the relationship between citizens and their governments become so corrupted? It is not solely because those who serve in government are themselves corrupt (although this is frequently a troubling factor). There is a wider problem here about the nature of governance and the question of what democracy might actually mean. As strange as our times might be, the crises we are facing have been anticipated by philosophers and authors for hundreds - indeed, thousands! - of years. Join the adventure as we look at the question of our future governance through the wisdom of the past.

Alright! How you manage to write so much is a mystery to me, but I’ll keep on puffing to keep up! Perhaps on these issues some extended, multi-party, truth-corralling dialogues will materialize. Hope so.
